Catherine Hernandez, LCSW

Catherine Hernandez, licensed clinical social worker specializing in treatment of trauma and chronic pain with adults virtually across Florida and New York

Catherine Hernandez is a licensed clinical social worker with a Master of Social Work from Baylor University and over 15 years of experience supporting people through some of their most difficult seasons of life.

Throughout her career, Catherine has been drawn to working with those who are often underserved: veterans, justice-involved teens and their families, and adults navigating substance use and behavioral health challenges. She brings the same steadiness, attentiveness, and quality of care to every client.

Catherine specializes in trauma, and over the course of her career has developed expertise in treating survivors of sexual trauma. She is trained in some of the most well-researched trauma therapies available and brings that same evidence-based care to her work with clients navigating depression, chronic pain, and difficult family dynamics. She has a particular gift for working with people who feel stuck, helping them find their footing and rediscover a sense of possibility.

At the heart of Catherine's work is a deep and unwavering belief in the dignity and worth of every person she sits with. Her presence is warm and collaborative, with an honest clarity that clients often find both grounding and freeing; she'll walk alongside you, and she'll be real with you while she does. Rooted in her social work values of service, integrity, and the importance of human relationships, she creates a space that feels both professionally steady and genuinely human.

Catherine is licensed in Florida and New York and offers virtual therapy exclusively, bringing exceptional clinical care directly to clients across both states. She offers evening appointments Monday through Thursday, making high-quality therapy accessible for accomplished professionals and busy adults who require both excellence and flexibility in their care.
